Bring live music to your school.
Sound Support Foundation brings professional musicians to schools across our region. Every session is completely free.
Field Trips
Junior high orchestra students visit Caleb Chapman’s Soundhouse for The Soundtrack of Your Life, an interactive session on how music shapes movies, video games, and our own lives. Through audio clips, discussion, and group activities, students discover the vital role their instruments play in the music they love.
Workshops
Professional musicians lead hands-on sessions for school ensembles. Caleb Chapman’s jazz ensemble clinics include Giant Steps to Soloing, The Articulate Jazz Musician, and Making a Great Performance Simple as Pie. Talon Cardon’s Careers in the Music Recording Industry shows students how a song goes from an idea to a hit.
Assemblies
A 45-minute live show for your whole school. Our professional band plays contemporary hits alongside iconic movie and video game themes, with a short discussion on how music shapes our lives and a jam session where students join in on stage.
Book a Session
Every session is completely free for schools in our region, and space is limited.
