Public & Institutional Partnerships

We partner with schools, government agencies, foundations, and businesses to expand access to structured, contemporary music performance training and to build the evidence base behind it.

How we work with institutional partners

Policy detail: we partner with schools, districts, and public-sector organizations to bring structured, contemporary music performance training into after-school, summer, and in-school settings, with the scope and schedule set together with each partner.

Intended outcomes: we focus on expanding access to ensemble performance training and on young people's confidence, connection, and belonging. Research on organized youth activities informs this approach; our Research page explains what that evidence does and does not show.

Access needs: we work with partners to identify and reduce the barriers that keep young people from taking part, including cost, transportation, and awareness.

Evaluation: we are early in building formal evaluation of our own program, and we are honest with partners about what is measured today versus what is still in progress.

Partnership contact: if you represent a school, policymaker, or institutional partner, reach out using the contact information below, or visit our Partner page for other ways to work with us.
